4. Battle of Bunker Hill Actually occurred on Breed’s Hill
GB charged up the hill 3 separate times before breaking through the Continental Lines. Only successful because lack of supplies for the Continental Army

2) GB Army: Strategy did not match the area
Both of these themes would reoccur throughout the war

Thomas Jefferson was chosen by the CC to draft a Declaration of Independence.
Jefferson drew heavily from the ideas of John Locke.
The Declaration included the colonies complaints or grievances against King George III.
