1. Cookie Moon Phase

2. Cookies or Paper Your group will either have cookies or paper
If cookies, use popsicle stick to move and create with icing on your cookie to make the moon phases
If paper, cut out circles from brown/black paper, and cut out moon phases from white paper
Otherwise follow instructions as follows

3. Instructions Do not eat the cookies
Draw the Earth in the middle of your paper
Draw the sun on the right or left side edge of your paper

4. Instructions Part 2 Carefully open one cookie
Use the spoon to scrape off all the crème from one of the cookie pieces
Place the cookie piece on the paper in the correct place
Draw a circle around the cookie
Label the moon phase next to the cookie (New Moon)

5. Instructions Part 3
Draw an arrow on your paper to show the direction of the moon phases
Then with the rest of your cookies continue to map out the moon phases while writing their names
Do not eat the cookies
Mrs Housman will come by with her camera and you will take a picture of your finished product

Once you have done your map and taken your picture…
