Alignment Graphic Communication National
Alignment is how items are placed so that they line up. This organizes information and creates order.

Dominance Graphic Communication National
Dominance is when an element of an advert is the most obvious. It creates a focal point for the promotional item creating emphasis and capture’s the viewer’s attention.

Unity Graphic Communication National
Unity is a measure of how the elements of a page seem to fit together - to belong together. This can be achieved by keeping elements close together, using the same colours, same fonts or similar shapes.

Depth Graphic Communication National
Depth is created through overlapping elements of the advert, using drop shadow or making something look like it is coming off the page.

Contrast Graphic Communication National
Contrast occurs when two elements on a page are different. For example, it is usually between two different colours, but it can also be between other different elements. (straight lines and curvy lines)
