Our challenge 3 Years ago not protecting CYP well
We are sustaining improvements with hard work from GSCB, and all agencies Are we as confident about early intervention? And what about permanence?

The Munro Report – Key recommendations:
No 2 – The inspection framework should examine the effectiveness of the contribution of all local services to the protection of children and young people. No10 -The government should place a statutory duty on LA’s and statutory partners to ensure the sufficient provision of local early help.

Timescales Ofsted inspection programme continues until introduction of the new joint inspections Consultation ended on 2 October 2012 Publication of the arrangements by April 2013 New inspections begin by June 2013

How do we define what this means? How will funding, policy changes and reforms in services affect what we can offer? What makes a difference for families? How do work together? How do we learn from best practice?
