2 Kurt Lewin September 9, 1890 (Poland, German Empire) – February 12, 1947 (MA, United States) German-American Received doctorate from the University of Berlin in 1914 1933 he moved to the United States and began work at the State University of Iowa’s Child Welfare Research Station 1945 he founded and became director of the Research Center for Group Dynamics at the MIT, Cambridge.
