2 Dispersion It turns out that the index of refraction of light depends upon the frequency of the light! This is what caused the rainbow we saw exiting the cylindrical lens while finding the critical angle for that material

Two reflected light rays will interfere either constructively or destructively. This depends upon phase changes during reflection extra distance traveled by one wave
