6. General information
The airfield is public and visit of aircrafts is possible
Radio is highly recommended but not mandatory
Car Parking is allowed at the airfield only in Takeoff areas 08,12 and 30
Driving to 08 via public road, Tauluntie.
No Car Parking is allowed in the launch areas for runways 26 and 30
There are water taps by the hangars and Glider parking area.
Do not trink from these taps! Drinking water is available at camping
area taps.
There will be toilets in the starting areas 08 and 12

7. No outlanding fields in these areas

8. When walking to 26 L you must must be extreme causion and
look for possible landing aircrafts on runway 26R!!
When runway 12 in use watch out landing aircrafts
Use Taxiways for moving gliders to 08 and 12.
After landing please the ATV will help you to move the Gliders from the
landing area.
In a radius of 10 km from airfield only left circling are allowed. This is a Finnish
general rule in order to avoid collisions!
When starting with air tow we recommend that the helpers should run on
the right side wing tip.
We prefer high tows because the mirrors of the tugs are adjusted
on that level
After releasing the towing line please turn to the left. The tugs turn to the right

9. Landing circuit
Down wind starts from to other end of the runway in a height of 300m. There you do your radio notice: ”Downwind 30L asfalt or gras”. After that you are not allowed to circle or look for thermals!
Do not thermal in landing pattern area
Do not fly across airflied at low altitude.
Plan by the arrival from the X-country flight the height so that you have min 300m agl in the beginning of down wind plus your own safety margins.
Tug planes may use often right hand circuit when landing.
Speed limit for Cars on the camping area is 20km/h!

For air tow or winch start you need to buy a ticket from the Info Cottage.
Air tow ticket and tow heights:
1 Air tow ticket is to 500m (€36,00)
1½ Tickets to 750m and
2 Tickets to 1000m
Winch lauching ticket (€12,00)
