Homework
Please read and sign your child’s homework agenda each night to confirm that you have see that night’s reminders and homework assignments.
All homework assignments are to be done in pencil unless otherwise stated.
Your child should write his or her own name on their homework as they are expected to do in class.
Word Study homework should be completed every Monday & Thursday night.

Spirit Day: Don’t forget that every Friday is SPIRIT DAY! Wear a Tolbert shirt or sweatshirt. You can also wear blue and white, our school colors!

2. American Education Week
Please join 2nd grade on Thursday, November 17th for an in-depth look at Butterfly Park, Tolbert’s Monarch Waystation! Parents are invited to participate in an activity with their child to learn more about how to help save the Monarchs. Parents should plan to arrive at 11:00, tour the Book Fair with your child, and stay for a Thanksgiving lunch from 12:25-1:05.
Parent Conferences
November 7th and 8th are the official Loudoun County conference days. If you have not yet scheduled a conference with your child’s teacher, please contact them as soon as possible.
