Lamellar Corpuscles –receptors stimulated by deep pressure and high frequency vibration

control blood flow
regulate corpuscle response (pressure)
regulate gland production (Sweat, oil)

Anchors skin to underlying organs

Very vascular
Site of subcutaneous injections – absorbed directly into blood stream
