2 MEANING OF RULE OF LAW Rule of law concept is considered to be important contribution of the British Constitution. It means that every person is equal in the eyes of law. There is no discrimination on the basis of race, caste, birth or sex, rich nor poor.

3 Dicey has propounded the word rule of law
Dicey has propounded the word rule of law. It means at first place, the supremacy of the regular laws as opposed to the influence of the arbitrary power and excludes the possibility of arbitrariness, of prerogatives and even wide discretionary authority on the part of the government.” (dicey;1959)
