A interrogative sentence asks a question and ends with a question mark. EX. Did you know that approximately half of our trash ends up in landfills? A exclamatory sentence shows urgency, strong surprise, or emotion, and it ends with an exclamation mark. EX. They’ll announce the winner in five minutes! A imperative sentence demands that an action be performed. The subject of an imperative sentence is usually not expressed, but is understood as you.
