Should restate the topic sentence and summarize the topic. This sentence holds all the sentences together. Needs to be an obvious end to the sentence. I have always dreamt of being a teacher and there are many reasons that I love to teach. First of all, I love to teach because I love to learn and be at school. Remember: A good 6th grade paragraph should be about 5-8 sentences long and it should be organized, not smashed together.

Day at the beach I went to the beach the other day
Day at the beach I went to the beach the other day. I saw a hermit crab when I was at the beach. I like the beach, it is one of my favorite places. I enjoyed my day at the beach. I also saw a seagull and some children there.

Day at the beach Strolling along the sandy shore, my day at the beach was perfect. I spotted a hermit crab, I jumped away as it crawled toward me. The waves were bold and tall, the sound so soothing. I heard the squawking of a seagull and children giggling. I loved that gorgeous day at the beach.
