Harrington Discovery Institute is designed to identify and resource the most promising physician-scientists and other scientists to accelerate the advancement of their breakthrough discoveries into medicines. The Institute provides financial capital for advancement and human capital in the form of expert industry guidance to manage the translation and development of these products. Through its resources, The Harrington Project is able to advance projects from discovery through clinical proof-of-concept.
In the last 5 years, the Institute has supported over 85 projects from across the United States. Those efforts have resulted in 20 startups, 5 licenses to pharma, and 5 projects in clinical trials.
