Comparative conjunctions: than as…as not as…as not so…as less than the same as Intensifiers: much, slightly, a little

2 Compare Fat cats (fat – thin)
Himmy-Cat is fatter than Sassy-Cat. Sassy-Cat is slightly thinner than Himmy-Cat. Himmy-Cat is very fat Sassy-Cat is also fat.

3 Compare the cats Skinny-Cat is fatter than Ben- Cat.
Ben-Cat is not as fat as Skinny-Cat. Ben-Cat is not so fat as Skinny-Cat. Ben-Cat is slightly thinner than Skinny-Cat. Skinny-Cat is fatter than Ben- Cat. Skinny-Cat is fat Ben-Cat is also fat.

4 Ginger-Cat & Harry-Cat
