3. Lectio Divina in prayer
1. Choose a scripture passage and find a quiet place to read and pray in silence.
2. Read slowly and attentively, listening for how God is speaking to you through the text
3. Choose a word or phrase that resonates with you and meditate on it. Repeat the word to yourself and reflect on how it speaks to your thoughts, life, etc.
4. Speak with God in prayer: What thoughts did the reading prompt? What questions or images did it provoke?
5. Silently rest in God’s presence
