The domain of curriculum refers to all elements of the teaching learning process that work in convergence to help students understand the curricular goals and objectives and to attain high standards of learning defined in the curriculum. These elements include the

instructional materials and learning resources.

4. WRITTEN CURRICULUM A lesson plan or syllabus written by teachers.
The one written by curriculum experts with the help of subject teachers.

What the teachers implement or deliver in the classrooms.
Refers to the different planned activities which are put into action in the classroom.
Varies according to the learning styles of students and teaching styles of teachers.

Whatever is being taught or an activity being done in the classroom is a taught curriculum. So, when teachers give a lecture, initiate group work, or ask students to do a laboratory experiment with the their guidance, the taught curriculum is demonstrated. This curriculum contains different teaching styles and learning styles to address the students’ needs and interests.

6. SUPPORTED CURRICULUM
Refers to resources that support or help in the implementation of the curriculum.
Includes material resources such as textbooks, computers, audio-visual materials, laboratory equipment, playground, zoos and other facilities.
Element: Instructional materials and learning resources

7. LEARNED CURRICULUM
The bottom-line curriculum – what the students actually learned
Refers to the learning outcomes achieved by the students
Indicated by the results of the tests – cognitive, affective and psychomotor
Element: Teaching learning approaches and activities

8. HIDDEN CURRICULUM Is the unintended curriculum.
Is not deliberately planned but may modify behavior or influence learning outcomes.
School environment or physical conditions of the classroom
Peer influence
Teacher-learner interaction
Mood of teachers and students
