Failed circuit boards are being sent to customers
Approach
Thesis: Circuit boards will be scanned throughout production allowing a way to track its progression through the line.
Approach: By scanning each produced circuit board, the assigned board number will be saved in a database table.
How: Each step through production will be a table. As the board passes through each production step, the board number will be saved in the appropriate table.
Impact
Saving each production step in a database will allow engineers to track failed boards sent to customers.
