7 Switching To and From V6.0 Logging on to Workforce Now Version 6.0
Continue to login by default to Workforce Now V6.0 Production You have the ability to move from WFN V6.0 to V7 and vice versa. V6.0 V7 Switching between V6.0 and V7 (or the reverse) can be done in two ways: Method 1: Manually via the menus Method 2: Automatically switch to the correct WFN version when you access a clients’ data (via UA). Each method will be discussed in the following slides.

8 Method 1: Switching Between V6.0 and V7 Using Menus
Using the Menus: After you log on by default to WFN V6.0, you can switch to V7 in the same browser window. Or, you can go to V6.0 after having switched to V7.

9 Method 2: Switching Between V6.0 and V7 When Prompted
The following setup and scenario apply to both the client wizard and to Universal Access (Act as User). We will focus our discussion on the client wizard. In this scenario, we will not be using the menus but will instead be answering prompts to switch to the correct WFN version. Setup You log on to WFN V6.0 using your UA credentials. In the WFN V6.0 client wizard, select a WFN V7 pilot client. Scenario The WFN V6.0 Client Wizard (CW) recognizes that the client being requested is a V7 client. A pop-up message is displayed: “The client is set up on WFN V7. Would you like to go to WFN V7 now?” Yes or No options follow. Yes –redirects you, in the same browser window, to WFN V7 to perform CW client search/select for the client. You must use the same version of WFN as the client you are trying to access (for example, Workforce Now V7) No – closes the popup message and keeps you on the WFN V6.0 CW client search page with the current search criteria and results. [Developer: Use this slide as the first slide in every new topic.]
