Common Core Georgia Performance Standards (CCGPS)
CCGPS are anchored in college-and –career-ready expectation and were designed to ensure all students progress to the college-and career-ready level by the end of high school. Georgia Milestones (new) – The test is a norm and criterion referenced test that will assess a student’s performance regarding the standards he or she were exposed. Additionally, there are normed questions embedded that will allow for a comparison between the student and their peers across the nation. This will allow for a reliable and valid score that will yield a score that will indicate a student’s college and career readiness. Student Learning Objectives (SLOs) – This is a criterion referenced tests that will measure a child’s growth in a class based on his or her pre and post test scores. This test is developed locally and is solely based on the CCGPS standards that are reflected in our local curricula.
