She says”Like how a single word can make my heart open”. And she is using the word like so it is a simile. And a word can not make your heart open.

She says”Wrecking balls inside my brain”. That like means that her brain is going crazy. Or she could be very confused.

She says”Losing friends and I’m chasing sleep”. She is not really chasing sleep she is just tired.

She says”Like a small boat on the ocean sending big waves into motion”. She is comparing the ocean and a boat using like.

7. Idiom
She says”But there’s fire burning in my bones”. There is no real fire in her bones. So she is just hot. Or her body is not agreeing with her.

8. Metaphor
She says”And all those things I didn’t say wrecking balls inside my brain”. It’s a metaphor because she means like that the words she didn’t say are making wrecking balls inside her brain.

9. Hyperbole
She says”I will scream them loud tonight can you hear my voice this time?”. It’s a hyperbole because we will not be able to hear her. And she is just exaggerating.
