Grades Grades are split into two categories:
Major Assessments are summative; tests, projects, and major labs. This is worth 60% of your grade. Minor Assessments are formative; classwork, quizzes, and homework. This is worth 40% of your grade. When looking at your grades online, a 0 means that work is MISSING! Late Work Policy: Major grade assignments may be turned in up to 5 days after the due date – 10 points will be deducted for every day the assignment is turned in past the due date. Minor grade assignments may be turned in up to 3 days after the due date – 10 points will be deducted for every day the assignment is turned in past the due date.
