General Remarks Road freight generated the most interest Data requirements well articulated & linked to policy objectives Data required quite demanding Some complex cross-cutting issues raised But many objectives still quite compartmentalised or silo based

Conclusions Appears to significant data gaps Some of the required data are already available More onerous demands (e.g. detailed route) cannot come from surveys Need to examine new techniques, such as GPS, cameras etc. Is there a need for a Transport Satellite Account? Resource implications!
