4 R&D groups have requested CSK data; Current status of COSMO-SkyMed support to GFOI R&D groups: Group #5: acquisitions are ongoing; Group #6: the license has been extended to Feb 2018, 22 new data have been requested; Group #10: waiting to be contacted by the PI in June 2017 to request data on Jul-Dec 2017; Group #11: waiting to be contacted by the PI for data request, last March 31, 2017;

List R&D groups your agency is able to support with data (new acquisitions and/or from archive) R&D Groups interested in COSMO-SkyMed data are invited to submit a proposal to ASI;

ASI – COSMO-SkyMed Data provision procedures #1
CSK data access procedures: Access to COSMO-SkyMed data is for research/institutional users; Submission of an R&D project to ASI for the exploitation of COSMO-SkyMed data; Principal Investigators of accepted proposals have to sign and return to ASI a “COSMO-SkyMed License to use” to obtain the data provision; ASI will provide to the approved projects a COSMO-SkyMed Request Form to order the products. The official COSMO-SkyMed archive is available at the website by subscription. The “Open Call for Science” started on 25th February 2015, details for application available at the following link: Land Cover & Vegetation is among the primary application domains.

ASI – COSMO-SkyMed Data provision procedures #2
Constraints or limitations (e.g. scene/area limitations, data sharing, etc.) Depending on project requests, projects are submitted to approval; COSMO-SkyMed data can be shared only among users that have signed the same license associated with a project; Capacity for continued support during 2017 (and 2018?) ASI is currently supporting groups #5 and #6 until the end of 2017 and the beginning of 2018, respectively; Available to evaluate the support to the R&D groups in 2018;
