All Events Open to the Public
JOIN FRIENDS & NEIGHBORS FOR OUR 8th ANNUAL SALUTE TO OUR MILITARY “PAST & PRESENT” FUNDRAISERS TO BENEFIT THE WISH FOR OUR HEROES FOUNDATION. ALL EVENTS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Please join us at one or all of the events to help us raise money to help military families & veterans in need. Veterans/Active Duty Military – bring a picture of yourself in uniform for our Weekend HONOR Board to any event and everyone wear red white and blue to the events to honor our vets & military.
-FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 10TH – Fish Fry & Chicken Buffett - $18.95/pp + tax ($5/pp to foundation) – Reservations required – Call Linkside Café at – 50/50 Raffle & more.
-SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11TH, - Veterans Day Breakfast Buffet & Ceremony at Linkside Café - $12.95/pp from 8 am – 11 am – (Ceremony at 9 am). All Veterans who pre-register by November 5th, will receive a 15% discount. Call Linkside Café at
-SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11TH , - Cass Cay Restaurant & Bar Veterans Fundraiser, Buffet, Entertainment donated by Capt’n Rick, 50/50 & Raffles. Buffet $25/pp ($5/pp to the foundation). Reservations are recommended for both the dining room & deck. Call Cass Cay at NOTE: Deck reservations will be an additional $25/pp with 100% of the $25 going to the foundation. Deck reservations must be paid for at time of booking at the restaurant. This event is a sellout every year – make your reservations now.
-SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12TH, - Veterans Weekend Golf Scramble at Burnt Store Marina Golf & Activity Club. 12:00 noon shotgun – check in BY 11:30 a.m. 4 –Person Scramble - $15 entry fee ($5 to prizes - $10 to foundation) plus applicable golf fee. Bring cash for 50/50, Raffles, Chinese Auction, games on the course. Sign up in the lobby at the club or call
