F. Compound Subject A compound subject has two or more simple subjects that have the same predicate The subjects are joined by and, or, or nor Example: Rangers and loggers study forest conditions. A ranger or one of his assistants is always on watch in the observation tower.

G. Compound Predicate A compound predicate has two or more simple predicates, or verbs, that have the same subject The simple predicates are connected by and, but, or, or nor. Example: Rangers explore and protect the forest. Tourists can walk or bike the trails.
