Be careful not to assume that the people of the Bible think and act like you do

Why is it important?

10. Literary Context What book are you reading?
What chapter are you reading? What event came before? What comes after?

11. What does the rest of the Bible say?
Are there other verses that talk about this topic?
Are there similar stories or teachings somewhere else?

12. A great question: What does this passage teach me about God?
