The paste command does not delete or alter information in the clipboard.

Copy and Paste Copying creates a duplicate of the information.
Pasting the information results in two instances of the same information.

Copy Options Options to copy information to the clipboard:
1. Click the Edit tab, and then click Copy. 2. Press the Ctrl+C keyboard shortcut.

Paste Options Options to copy information to the clipboard:
1. Click the Edit tab, and then click Paste. 2. Press the Ctrl+V keyboard shortcut.

Cut and Paste Cut removes the information and places in in the clipboard. Pasting the information essentially results in moving the information.

Cut Options Cut options: 1. Click the Edit tab, and then Cut.
2. Press the Ctrl+X keyboard shortcut.

Options to copy information to the clipboard: 1. Click the Edit tab, and then click Paste. 2. Press the Ctrl+V keyboard shortcut.
