Materials: Journals, something to write with
Please take 1 COPY of the pink, blue, or white (whichever is at your group table)
Next, scan over the first page of the text selection and in your journals, make a prediction about what the text will be about with a short paragraph. (3-4 sentences)
After reading the entire text set, write down a one sentence reflection as to why your prediction was correct or why it was incorrect. If you were incorrect, don’t worry about it! It will not count against you when I check the journals later on. Just be sure to tell why it was incorrect.
In a few minutes, when you hear the music- rotate to the next station in numerical order. Bring your white, pink, or blue text copy with you!

2. English I
Now that you are at the next station, take 1 COPY of the new text selection. Scan it over briefly, then make a quick prediction in your journals. After reading it fully, write down a one sentence reflection as to why your prediction was correct or why it was incorrect. If you were incorrect, don’t worry about it! It will not count against you when I check the journals later on. Just be sure to tell why it was incorrect.
