Jet chose Microsoft Azure to power its site, so it was only natural it would turn to Microsoft and the Go-To-Market Services team as it looked to disrupt ecommerce pricing with its launch. Jet collaborated on an internal launch promotion for Microsoft employees that resulted in 1,297 new buyers with total sales of around $200,000. Jet.com was the subject of a post on Microsoft’s The Fire Hose Blog, which included a video featuring the company’s founders talking about how Jet is redefining online shopping with dynamic pricing.
