3. M2 task
In order to achieve M2, you will need to assess the ways in which health and social care workers support the independence and well being of older people.
You will need to take into account the following aspects:
Promoting choice and independence,
Possible outcomes,
Quality and choice at the end of life.

4. M2 task
In order to achieve M2, you will need to use 5 of the strategies which you have used in your P3 task.
You will need to assess their effectives in promoting well being and independence looking at the following outcomes:
Improving or maintaining wellbeing such as physical skills, mobility, balance, communication, social interaction, emotional stability or independent living.
You will be expected to use a range of those aspects based on relevancy to your case study.

5. M2 Task
You will be required to bring into your assessment of the strategies the following concept with regards to:
Medicalisation of death,
Informed choice,
Emotional support,
Living wills,
Legality,
Ethics of assisted suicide.

6. D1
In order to achieve your D1, you will need to provide an overall evaluation of your assessment of the strategies including the relevant links to frameworks for practice such as:
National service framework for older people,
Dignity in care initiative,
Mental health services for older people,
Our health, our care, our say;
Codes of conducts,
Organisational policy and procedures.
