Senior English 10/22/18 What is the author’s purpose into breaking the story into parts? Specifically, what is the significance/difference of the author’s intentions in Part 2 vs. Part 1? When does a detective carry an umbrella? Apricate – to sunbathe. To bask in the sun. Goals – Complete Part 2 notes. Discussion if we have time. Homework – Read and journal about part 3 ch. 4. Make sure all your journals are revised for checking tomorrow. Study for Vocab. Final 1-7. When he is undercover.

Can there objective account of history or politics or is reality dependent on the observer? Why did the mouse sleep in the oil can? Philogynist – lover of women. Goals – Watch video of part 3 in Consider the opener quotation and question. Homework – Read and journal about part 3 ch. 5,6. Don’t forget to study for Vocab 1-7 Final on Friday. He didn’t want to squeak in the morning.

How do you double your money? Ciplinarian – One who teaches disorder. The opposite of a disciplinarian. Goals – Work on discussion technique for part 2 and three Homework – Read and journal about Appendix: “The principles of Newspeak.” Don’t forget to study for Vocab 1-7 Final on Friday. Fold it.

Why was the baseball player a bad sport? Ubiety –thereness. Being in a place. The opposite of absence. Goals – Practice discussion based on journals. Homework – Read and journal about “If our enemies took me”, page 288. Don’t forget to study for Vocab 1-7 Final tomorrow. Because he stole third base and then went home.
