Achievements
Formerly known as Mass Transfer and Separation Engineering Laboratory, then renamed as Fine Chemical Engineering team; 15 professors and six deputy professors.
Winning 2 China Patent Excellence Award and 1 Guangdong Province Patent Excellence Award; 1 China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association Technology Invention Award;
Applying for more than 150 pieces of Chinese invention patents, of which 60 were authorized;
150 SCI papers were published in the domestic and foreign academic journals

Team characteristics - take the road of combining production and research
After 1995, we cooperated with Guangzhou state-owned enterprises such as Guangzhou Paint Factory, Hongyun Chemical Plant, Dongfeng Chemical Company and other five factories to develop new products.
In 2001, we cooperated with Carpoly Chemical, Zhongshan Yongda and other leading enterprises in the paint industry, adhesives and plastic additives and other fields..
