FSR 11 — Asbestos Understanding your Workplace Specific Critical Controls Instructions: The images in this presentation should depict the specific controls you have agreed at your workplace. Substitute these images for the actual controls you will be using and expect to see implemented.

3 Critical Control 1 WHERE ASBESTOS OR ASBESTOS CONTAINING MATERIAL (ACM) IS LIKELY TO BE OR HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED, AN ASBESTOS MANAGEMENT PLAN IS DEVELOPED, COMMUNICATED AND REGULARLY REVIEWED The Asbestos Management Plan is the primary document. Insert at workplace level location of the Asbestos Management Plan

Critical Control 2 TRAINED AND COMPETENT PERSONNEL (LICENCED ASBESTOS REMOVERS AND COMPANY) Type of Company Licence What asbestos can be removed Worker Supervisor Class A Any amount or quantity of asbestos or ACM, including: friable asbestos or ACM ACD non-friable asbestos or ACM. CPCCDE3014A Remove non-friable asbestos CPCCDE3015A Remove friable asbestos CPCCBC4051A Supervise asbestos removal Class B Any amount of non-friable asbestos or ACM ACD associated with the removal of non-friable asbestos or ACM CPCCDE3014A Remove non-friable asbestos; or *ACM (asbestos containing material) ACD (asbestos contaminated dust or debris)

5 Critical Control 3 HEALTH MONITORING IS UNDERTAKEN FOR WORKERS CARRYING OUT ASBESTOS WORK
