2. What is homeostasis?
maintenance of a stable internal state within an organism.

3. What is feedback?
Is a mechanism that will maintain homeostasis.

4. Example of feedback mechanism in animals.
Temperature homeostasis:
Your body gets hot, so we sweat
Your body sweats, it evaporates and we cool back off.
Heart rate homeostasis:
You increase the rate of excerisce
Then your heart rate increases to compensate for necessary oxygen levels and blood flow

5. Example of feedback mechanisms in plants:
plants need to regulate water loss and carbon dioxide intake for photosynthesis and other life activities

6. Feedback in plants
when plants do not keep enough water in their cells, they wilt and die
guard cells: open and close the stomate
the ability of the guard cell to close during periods of limited water availability for the plant allows the plant to maintain water homeostasis
