Will be able to describe the temple of Isis
Some:
- Will be able to use engaging descriptions of designs in the temple

4. Temples They were the heart of the community
They believed temples were the home of the gods
Kids went to school there
The women came everyday to give food as offering to gods
Temples acted as hotels for visitors
Grain was also stored in temples
They would pray for whatever they needed
If their prayer was not answered they would ‘whack’ the statue to show their displeasure

5. Temple Karnak This temple is over 2000 years old
It is still an amazing building
This temple is the main temple for all the gods
This was the worlds largest building for over 2000years

9. Temple of Luxor
Temples were built out of stone so that it could last forever
Walls were covered with hieroglyphics which were brightly painted
These scenes showed Pharaohs fighting and religious rituals
