Classification Issues…
DNA evidence suggests that chimps/bonobos separated from each other approximately 1 million years ago (from humans 5-7 MYA) Chimps and Bonobos diverged in nature most likely due to the Congo River Talk of reclassifying chimps and bonobos into the genus, Homo because of the genetic similarities to Humans (Homo sapiens) (at least 98-99% the same) OR, reclassifying Humans as Pan sapiens
