Difficulties
Farmers has changed their plans and not growing wheat
Frozen wheat areas have been sown by another crop

9. Difficulties (answers to the questions put to the interviewers by CSB)
Owner and at the same time administrator is foreigner and visited Latvia only time after time, in some cases language problem
Book-keeper works for more than one farm and it is not possible to meet him at farm
As FSS took place recently farmers considered visits were too friquently
August is not the best time for interviews because the most of farmers work on combines, telephons are switched off
For 4 districts (131 farm) there were no any problems

Non-response – 3 farms or 0.3%
- 2 farms - owners are foreigners (possibility to receive data later by post)
- 1 farm – property have been sold

Conclusions
Qualified interviewers - the main precondition for successful implementation of the survey
The most of appropriate time should be chosen for interviews
The best choice at the moment for interviewers is using of paper questionnaires
Application rate of PPP often was lower than recommended but farmers tried apply PPP more then once
