EOY Project Today Please gather all of your EOY project information
If you need a computer get one and get logged on
2
Board Layout Max dimensions: height-274 cm, width-122 cm, depth-76 cm
3 Panels on your board. The center is your focal point Everything should be typed except hand drawn diagrams DO NOT spend money on a board. If you have a board you can use the back side. We’ll cover it in paper first. Poster boards, presentation boards, cardboard boxes Ask teachers if they have used poster board they are throwing out!
3
Board Layout On your layout sketch where you will place the following items. Title Problem/Purpose (task 3) Hypothesis (task 6) Chemistry Analysis of topic (task 4) Pictures of experiment or diagram of set up Procedure (task 6) Graph (task 7) Summary data table (task 7) Conclusion (task 8) Application/why it’s important (task 8) Citations/ photo credit
4
Chemistry Summaries & Conclusions
These 2 things will be the “meat” of your board. Go back to task 4 and dig deep into the chemistry of your project. List out specific examples of chemistry you experimented with. Get someone to read your conclusion as a peer evaluation. They should make comments in a different color pen and sign + date it. Turn in your board layout stapled to your conclusion peer edit to the black trays by the end of class.
