Notebook Entry: Sometimes the cycle of water around our planet can affect humans in dangerous ways. How do you think rain could put People in danger?

2. WATER CYCLE BASICS
Evaporation = process by which molecules of liquid water move into the air after becoming heated by the sun and turning to water vapor.
Condensation = process by which water vapor cools and becomes liquid water
Precipitation = any form of water (liquid or solid) that falls from clouds and reaches earth.
But….there is a lot more to it that just these 3 things!

4. How complex is the water cycle?
To answer this question you will be conducing research about different parts of the water cycle.
You will collect your research and organize it using 2 column notes.

Your notes should include:
a definition
where the water was before it got to this stage of the cycle
where the water could go next
whether the water is a liquid, solid or gas
Parts you will research
Sun***- notes should focus on what the sun does to effect the water cycle.
