The principal of the school, Dr. Smith, wanted the teacher, Mr. Jones, to write a letter to the parents of his students announcing the upcoming Open House. Dr. Smith asked his secretary, Ms. Brown, to send an to Mr. Jones, telling him to write the letter.

Mr. Jones agreed to write the letter, but he lacked certain pieces of information. He sent John to find out the date of the Open House. He sent Susan to learn about the program for the evening. Eric was asked to get a list of the parents’ names and addresses.
