You will see 3 documentaries. Each covers a different part of the United States quest to put a person on the Moon. You will submit a one page summary of each video. Your essay must answer the following questions. You will also include additional information that you deem critical to a summary of that video. Your submission must be typed. DUE: 3/10/17 VIDEO 1: Ordinary Supermen Why did NASA conduct project Mercury? Who was the first person in space? What did project Mercury aim to accomplish? What launch vehicles are used? VIDEO 2: Friends and Rivals What is the main difference between projects Mercury and Gemini? What is the significance of that difference? What are the big accomplishments of project Gemini? What launch vehicle is used? VIDEO 3: Landing the Eagle Describe the first manned moon mission. In the 1st landing, who was in the command module and who went to the surface? What benefit(s) came from the Apollo program?
