Each day you turn in a late assignment, there will be 15 points deducted from your grade.

Also, Desoto County records grades in Power School which will enable your parents to see your attendance (tardiness, absences), grades, conduct, and more the minute I enter it in the computer from any computer they are logged onto. This is wonderful, and your parents will be thrilled!

What are your expectations for behavior while you work on an assignment in class?? Let’s brainstorm. I will give you the opportunity to tell me what you think creates an environment where it is easiest to read/write/and learn. Write it down on a sticky note.
I need one person from each group to come paste them on the anchor chart.

You will now create a narrative writing in the shape of a fingerprint. This narrative describes you and only you, so it will be a “one of a kind” fingerprint that I will display. Feel free to create sketches or drawings throughout or around the writing.

Bring in photos, magazines, etc. of things you
can paste onto the front of the composition book to make it your own. We will complete these tomorrow. **Don’t forget the signed forms and forms to be filled out by parent/guardian.
