2 Microsoft Payment Central Onboarding
Microsoft is pleased to announce the online experience for payment details for the FastTrack Partner Incentive Program (ID 107) accessed using the Microsoft Payment Central (MPC) Platform. To receive your payments, action is required to enter your payment profile to this new online experience. New payees will need to enter bank and tax details via the Bank and Tax management pages. Bank profiles and currency assignment per location will appear and can be changed if required. A payment profile that is correctly setup and ready to receive incentive payments will have the status of complete with a green tick symbol. This training provides summary and detailed steps.

3 Important Notes before we get started
There are 4 steps which must be completed to enable Microsoft to initiate payment: Enter Contact Information Fill out a Questionnaire Enter Tax Information Enter Banking Information Each payee (location) must enter their bank and tax details, assign a banking profile and select a currency. These steps need to be completed within 30 days of receiving the initial with a link to the payee. Microsoft must have complete payment details for each location where incentives are paid in order to process the incentives payment.

4 Important Notes before we get started
Bank or tax profiles once created must be verified by Microsoft so they won’t appear as ‘Approved’ for 48 hours .If a profile isn’t approved after 48 hours, please contact Support at . Once bank and tax profiles are completed, you are redirected back to the Bank and Tax Management area to confirm assigned bank profile and currency details (no action needed if correct) or make changes if required as outlined below. Once all sections are complete, make sure to complete a final submission by clicking the SUBMIT button at which point the status of all sections will change to Pending Microsoft Action

5 Two important notes for the tax section
In the tax profile, you will be submitting tax details pertaining to either W9 or W8. Once final submission is done, tax profile status changes to “Pending Microsoft Action”. Please note that while any tax profile is “Pending Microsoft Action,” no tax profiles will be editable. In case of any errors with tax validation rule, you will be notified to come to the portal and fix the tax section at which you can edit and resubmit the information. A PIN is required on the W9 or W8. Please look for an from CTI on behalf of Microsoft with subject: PIN for Forms W8 or W9. The will include a 5 character PIN

6 Getting Started Once the Payment Team has received your contact information, please look for an from Microsoft Payment Central with a link to provide information to facilitate payment. The subject line will read as: Action Required Invitation for payee account set up The next slides will walk you through this one-time process.  The process is quite lengthy and you have 30 days to fill in all of the required information. Hint: If you enter all of the information for at least one section, Contact Info for example, you will have extra time to finish the process. For general questions please contact

Contact Info – Business Profile Add/Edit the Organization Information (required): Organization Name (if you have multiple locations for the same partner, please identify the country. Tax Info Select the Launch Tax Form Tax form generates based on the type of supplier identified in the Contact Info stage Organization name and address automatically populate into the form Supplier enters their Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN): Individuals enter Social Security Number (SSN) Organizations enter Employer Identification Number (EIN) 1 2 1 3 2 Foreign Payee Status: Revised W-8 Form Type: Individual W-8BEN Business entities (e.g., corporations) Substitute W-8BEN-E, or Formal W-8BEN- E (for certain financial payments only) Intermediary entities (e.g., partnerships) W-8IMY Government entities W-8EXP Any person or entity that files a U.S. tax return W-8ECI 3

Tax Info - Continued Supplier scrolls down the page and looks to sign the document. Beneath the “Sign Here” box, type in: Full Legal Name PIN – An will be sent to the address you signed in with from CTI on behalf of Microsoft with subject: PIN for Forms W8 or W9. The will include a 5 character pin that should be used at this time. Once complete, click Submit 4 4 5 5

Bank Profiles Details section: Enter the Bank Profile Name for your reference Select the Bank Account location (country) Disbursement Currency should automatically populate or select the correct currency Select the Payment Method Check Electronic Payment Transfer Click Next Bank Account section Add the ABA/IBAN Routing Number Add SWIFT code (optional) Add the Account Holder Name Identify the Account Type Enter and Confirm the Account Number Click Finish 1 2 1 2 3 3 4 5 4 6 7 5 8 6 7 8 9 9 10 10

ABA/IBAN Number Failed Validation In the case that any valid ABA/IBAN number failed validation: Re-enter the IBAN number Tick the “I know my bank details are correct…” statement Once directed back to the bank account information screen, fill out all required information Click the Finish button to submit 1 2 2 1 3 4 3 4

Payee admins can add additional users to manager the profile. These members will also be able to login to Microsoft Payment Central and manage the profile

Supplier Edits Add an Additional Bank Profile for an Existing Supplier Once supplier setup is completed, suppliers can add multiple bank profiles: Click the V arrow Click Add New Bank Profile to go through same process to add a new bank profile Click the Edit button to modify existing bank profile Status changes to “Ready to submit”.
