Hand out the “Where are you now?” page of the Strategic Planning Worksheet in the Rotary Strategic Planning Guide. Can then ask participants to take a moment to think about the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Challenges) as they relate to their own club ……
If time allows, you can have them share one or two items (either with a neighbor or with the whole group).

Does your club have a vision?
Does everyone share the same vision?
Can ask a few people to tell you one or two things to describe what their Rotary club will be ideally be like in five years. If needed, help by suggesting aspects to describe (club size, how community sees the club, club projects, how will members describe their club and how will they feel); what else. What will be different about your club?
What if different members, or different presidents each year have a different vision?
Discuss club visioning. Ask who has participated in a visioning session with their club (go to next slide)
