Group task I Problem solving : Case study
Students will be Classified into groups Demonstration of the case scenario Students in each group will analyze the problem and answer the given questions

Twenty-five years old male patient, work as a farmer, was presented to the hospital complaining of cough, expectoration, dyspnea and fever for approximately ten days, he was hospitalized. Chest examination and chest X-ray revealed bilateral lower zone patches of consolidation. Based on these findings he was diagnosed as acute bacterial pneumonia and empirical antibiotic treatment was begun. The patient's fever and respiratory complaint did not respond to the antibiotics therapy.

Repeated sputum Gram stains were negative, and both sputum and blood cultures were sterile.
Sputum smear was negative for acid-fast bacilli, but it was positive for Charcot lyden crystals . CBC showed eosinophilia. During the course investigations, the symptoms subside and the patient was released from the hospital

5 weeks later the patient was presented to the outpatient clinic complaining of abdominal pain, as routine investigation stool analysis was performed and the shown parasite egg was found in stool sample.

Group task II In group, the students will discuss the required data Each group will present the results to their peer What are the other nematodes infection that can be presented with Loffler's syndrome? Why? Which one has more sever clinical manifestations and why? What are the sequels of ingesting the infective stage of non human ascarids (Toxocara canis –Toxocara catis)?
