Objectives To provide instruction to members on how to use the team electronic command post equipment and software Not an ICS or Command and Control class Knowledge of Windows XP and MS Office required Ideas and suggestions are welcome Training will be in two parts: PPT and practical

Purpose of the eCP Create electronic documentation of an operation using ICS forms Electronic map creation and search area documentation GPS and radio programming Public relations Need to create good Team Assignment form Technical Procedures will be updated after this training with any new ideas.

WiFi in CP Trailer Wireless Broadband via personal cards Cell and Satellite Phones Team / Personal GPS and Radios Only Garmin GPS cables

eCP Response Ready Available for calls with the CP trailer or for OES out-of-county calls Treat like System Pack, ready to go Computer plugged in at Station Leave existing power plug at Station Satellite Phone plugged in at Station Take power plug Keep secure Reset everything after an operation CP not ready for prime time Tie up call cables, put it proper place Check for missing items
