Allan Kardec Timeline 1804 – Denizard Hippolyte Léon Rivail was born in Lyon, France At 11 moved to Suitzerland to study at the Instituition of Pestallozzi, in Yverdun Moved to Paris, France Founded The Rivail Instituition 1832 – Rivail got married with Amélia Boudet 1834- Closed the Rivail Foundation and faced serious financial problems 1834 – Started working in 3 different estabilishments everyday 1854 – Heard about the “table-turning” 1855 – First time he witness the “turning table” fenomenun 1858 – The Parisian Society of Psichologic Studies was founded and also La Revue Spirite, Journal of Psychologic Studies 1869 – Allan Kardec passed away. He was 65.
