Google’s main news search covers about 4,500 English language sources.
Items are stored in Google’s news database for 30 days; discarded items can be retrieved through Google’s news archive.
Google organizes its database into several categories.

Google fast flip offers a new reading experience that combines the best elements of print and online articles.
Google also offers a news search for not just the U.S., but about 70 other countries.
With this feature, Google News spreads their database all throughout the world.
