2. Who We Are?
Prouder Communities Barnardos Children’s Charity – part of the Positive Identities Service Funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund

3. Our Aim
To meet the needs of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans young people and young people who are Questioning their gender or sexual identity (LGBTQ) across North Yorkshire, Wakefield, Bradford and Leeds.
We help members of the community to shape school and community environments to raise awareness and knowledge levels of the issues LGBTQ young people face to encourage acceptance and support and to challenge Homophobic, Biphobic and Transphobic (HBT) bullying.

4. What We Offer
1:1 support to young people who are questioning or are struggling with their sexual or gender identity.
Workshops to tackle HBT bullying in schools or communities out of school time.
Workshops for professionals and community leaders which look at how to tackle HBT bullying, raises knowledge around sexual and gender identity and how these sit with faith, culture and religion.
Access to a network of safe spaces for LGBTQ young people.
The opportunity to become a Volunteer Community Champion.
