KS Regents Admission Requirements
K State Wichita State Emporia State Fort Hays State Pittsburg State Admission to 5 of the Board of Regents Schools Complete the Qualified Admissions or Kansas Scholars Curriculum (PPG Page 7) with a 2.0 GPA. (A 2.0 or higher on any college credits earned during high school is also required.) MATH: Must be through Algebra II (Applied Math Courses are not Kansas Board of Regents approved) SCIENCE: Chemistry OR Physics AND 1 of the following ACT score of 21+ SAT score of 980+ or Graduate in the top one-third of your class AND 22+ on the math portion of the ACT OR Take 4 years of Math

Enrollment Process Students are receiving the following enrollment materials: USD 233 Program Planning Guide Enrollment worksheet with available classes Individual audit indicating courses completed in each graduation category. Step by step instructions on how to enroll. Enrollment Timeline Students will enroll at home with parents Students should talk with their teachers about enrollment questions. Counselors are available to answer questions during each grade-level’s designated open lab day.

REMINDER It is USD 233 School Board Policy for all students to enroll in a full 7-hour school day. You must enroll in 7 (14 classes) credits and 4 alternative courses.

Schedule Change Policy
Student selections during pre-enrollment are used to create the master schedule. Students will not qualify for a schedule change, for the school year, if their schedule reflects courses that were requested during the pre-enrollment process (that is now). If a student is placed in a class that he/she did not choose during pre-enrollment, they can set up an appointment with their counselor at the beginning of the school year.
